Plenty of people are wanting to rush in with this, so as you say we will get plenty of guinea pigs to see if it’s safe before it gets to the age /heath groups we would sit in (I am assuming you are not 80 and obese)

Of course pointing out the rushed nature of the vaccine and the gov removing the compensation scheme for those harmed by vaccines for this makes you an anti vaxxer

Vaccines and vaccination safety is not always a simple thing. The science of them is very complex.
Even the UK government has put out a tender related to them actually expecting lots of adverse reactions to the covid-19 vaccine.

In light of that, and the fact that it seems many of the manufacturers are effectively being giving a free ride in terms of liability for injuries as a result of having taken the vaccine, it would be odd to say the least if it was to be made manadatory (or if people were to be up in arms at anyone that decided not to have it)

I’ve only ever posted about how Victoria defeated its second wave, and if the UK tried something similar, then you would likely not be where you are now.

I’ve never said lockdown works 100% of the time. Once again, that’s you reading something and extrapolating it into your own argument against it because you don’t like lockdown.

I’ve also rebutted people who’ve said the answer is contract tracing like South Korea. When challenged on the fact that South Korea tracks their residents in many scary ways, people have not replied.

Peru and Argentina didn’t work? I can only assume they had holes in their lockdown strategy, similar to Victoria in the first wave. If you actually read anything that I’ve posted in here, you’d know that we have had 2 lockdowns - 1 worked for a bit and then the virus got out again. The second time around we didn’t fudge around and now we’ve had 14 days with no cases and no deaths.

Can’t wait to see how you take this post and put your own ideas into it again.

You’re one of the more braindead posters on this thread and i see that knowledge extends to how South American countries operate in 2020. I’ve been in regular contact with a good friend who lives in Buenos Aires, who has consistently told me that a lockdown like the one we went through in Melbourne would never be feasible in their capital let alone the non urbanised parts of Argentina. In the poorer parts of BA how do do you think they impose physical distancing of households? Melbourne only managed it because it has an obedient population. Same with Taiwan and NZ.

I guarantee the craft beer scene in Melbourne is better than where you are. Also when you say ‘you lot’ with a chavy nationalist tone, it kind of makes you look foolish considering the fact i was born in Chichester, England and lived a majority of my life in that overpriced, soggy brickhole of a country which i lost faith in the moment the brexit lot dragged us into the mess you're in now.

The UK craft beer scene is as good as anywhere else, it’s not Highlander, if the beer is good, we all win.

Had one of Brewdogs new Double or Nothing yesterday, wonderful.

I can speak on both and the Melbourne craft beer scene is heads and shoulders above England. But then again if Australian's know anything, it's beer.
