Thats why I dont want Sturridge - he is the striker version of Bentley. Unnecessary things he does and silly and selfish. I bet he even went in at five so he could be the hero.

Very interesting the semi-finals are made up of two South American teams and two Asian teams. When was the last time in an Olympics or World Cup that there was no European side in the semi-finals. Balance of power shifting?

Does that Souare ever put a poor cross in, fudge me some of the best crosses I've ever seen. Konate does look like he has potential but he has like Sow, Ba and Cisse ahead of him and even N'Doye is more rated than him and he didn't get picked due to his team not wanting him to go or something.

Were never going to do too well as soon as that squad was announced, it was really quite week. Whether that was down to clubs not releasing players I don't know, but even down to choosing Pearce as the manager it was poor from GB.
