Adama Traore

If we have to wait till summer. to get Lamptey, then lets wait, instead of going for Traore now. rather we muddle through with what we got, instead of changing for the sake of it

And if that means missing out on cl?

(Not saying traore will get us cl, just throwing out the question).

Easier to teach a good technical player like Royal how to cross, than to teach an athlete how be a footballer

Bit harsh. Remember dembele didn't have much end product but we loved him.

Think paratici likes him because he can play numerous roles. Both left and right.

I don't think he's the best we can get but if both paratici and conte agree, who are we to argue? Back the manager and all that.

It reeks of a grubby Jorge Mendes bung deal. There's no footballing logic to it

Agree re Dembele, people seem to have forgotten how frustrating that lack of end product was with him but was still a vital part of our best team in the Prem era.
Traore also offers something that Dembele did in being completely press resistant, he's an out ball we've not had since Dembele.

Traore will either be an attacker or a RWB, both positions it is essential to have end product in order to be a success, hence why we're talking about improving on Royale or our current attacking options. Dembele played a box to box type role where end product isn't essential.

This ongoing back and forth on traore is pointless. Some say he’s not good enough and others say if conte and paratici want him thats good enough for me.

The actual truth is that he is who we can get within the chains that our owner forces levy, paratici and conte to work in.

Will emerson and traore do as our rwb options for a club with big aspirations? Absolutely not but that’s our owner again, completely unwilling to give the club a helping hand with player recruitment.

Thanks to levy everything is in place at the club yet it has been ravaged by covid. But 4th place is in sight, with the consequences of us or the goons getting it being stark. It requires a little helping hand from our owner. He’s allowed to do it up to around £400m. However he wouldn't even do £1.

The timeline of events are now clear - we have a pathetic window, arsenal get 4th, this has a massive impact on both clubs summer window, conte leaves at some point between July 2022 and July 2023, utter carnage breaks out within the fan base.

The above is what is going to happen, all discussion in the intervening period is pointless.

Your daily anti-ENIC rant in just after 8am today!! Impressive

Regardless of whether you're right or wrong, you're very consistent in your arguments!

What has end product got to do with Dembele's game?

Do you criticise Lloris for not scoring enough?

Dembele's xGBuildup over his time at Spurs was more than twice Traore's in his time at Wolves. Dembele was an absolutely dominant, game controlling, press resistant midfield beast.

Traore can run quite fast.

Remember back in the day when Real Madrid had Claude Makelele and he was said to have perfected the mobile defensive midfield role at the time .... they were referring anyone that could play in midfield, mobile and defensive as "The Makelele role" ....

Know why the "Mousa Dembele role" never materialised?... There simply will never be another.
