***OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs KAA Gent - 2nd Leg***

proud of the guys, played well especially when down to 10 - you wouldn't have guessed it. Seriously though poch, wtf is the point of bringing on janssen with 2mins left, he needs to sort some of his tactical decisions out because quite frankly not good enough and I love poch so says something for me to say it.

Make no mistake. Next season is going to be a long one.

I hope to GHod there are 3 really sh#t teams in the Premier League, because we wont be able to rely on our home form

It's a tinkle take

He should gamble more in the fecking cup games

Out of Europe, won't beat Stoke as we'll be too tired.

Now to get to the semis of the FA Cup so we can fail to win at Wembley again.

WE had a chance. A good one. But once they scored their third from our blunder, that was it.

Uggghhhh...

Sod that, they've gone down like logs at the slightest touch, assaulted our lads with impunity (because of their twelfth man in the black shirt) and wasted as much time as feasibly possible against *ten* men. They've done nothing noteworthy.
I meant our players played their hearts out.

Nope, that's what you do when you're the significantly worse team. You don't try and outplay a better team and then pat yourself on the back because you've played 'honourably' while losing 5-2. And they'll have gotten an incredible result for them and fair play.

Chelsea did the same and everyone was saying how we'd learn from it. We have not

And we are by no means an innocent team. There's a lot of dirty, petulant fudgers in that team. They've just been sucked in. Poor. fudging poor.

Because he hasn't got the experience and possibly the balls to win cup games when we're under pressure

It's a cup game and we simply haven't gambled enough IMO

Our defending wasn't good. We scored twice. Could have had a few more despite being down to 10. Son, Kane, Eriksen all decent chances.

I'm never too gutted when we play well and lose, and we did that tonight. Not good enough. But at least we stood up and went for it.

I ask again what does Wimmer need to do to play?

Not being the worst player on the pitch against Monaco, Arsenal, Chelsea, City, Wycombe and Liverpool reserves this season.

He's had 3 decent games this season against Gillingham, Watford and Villa and that's it.

As for tonight we had enough chances to win it. We played really well with 10 men and were caught on the break.

This isn't the end of the world.

Well that was disappointing. Poor defending, poor finishing and Dele's red was what cost us.

The poor ref and a bit of luck for them didn't help, but really, we battered them for about half the game, even with ten men, and still couldn't win. Only ourselves to blame again.

Poch put out a strong side. There is no accounting for an own goal, a moment of red mist, and poor finishing (again).

there is, they are all avoidable mistakes

the own goal came from not shutting down a break with a tactical foul at half way

red mist only descends when players are not mentally prepared

we have coaches right?

we lost the tie with our heads tonight
