Last Day Of The Season.

If Blackburn beat Wigan and Chelsea beat Liverpool midweek then the Blackburn v Chelsea game for me is the natural choice as they both have so much to play for.

It is a massive IF though and I don't know if they can leave their decision that late.

I strongly fancy Wigan to beat Blackburn, which will relegate them.

What a superb season it's been and what a final day!! Title race not decided, if Chelsea beat Liverpool 4 teams covered by what? 4pts from 3rd to 6th?! Relegation battle not yet decided.

This is what football is all about and can't wait until next weekend already!

Couldn't agree more. Regardless of our recent struggles, as a football fan you couldn't ask for more going into the last day.

Also this season has finally been when we've got our Tottenham back! We had it for half a season in 2001/02, and before then it was the 80's. But this season we've played some really attractive football, and been capable of turning over anyone on our day.....whilst capable of losing against anyone. We're definitely back!

So do I. But, actually a draw will send Blackburn down. Venkysboys have to win both, hope QPR lose by 4 and Bolton dont win at Stoke.

As posted earlier, I just have this funny feeling Bolton are going to win at Stoke and send QPR down

Think I will be more nervous than I was at Villa this afternoon, and that will take some beating

I wasnt that nervous today because this wasnt the decider although would have gone a hell of a long way.

I will be nervous next week though because it is kinda out of our hands although we will get CL place if we win (whether we get through to the CL is another matter)

Huge day with the title, Champions League places and relegation to be decided. Gonna get down the Bell & Hare early to have a proper send off. Up the Spurs!

Like I mentioned in the weekend thread last weekend, this is the most entertaining Premier League season of all time.

I'll be watching it with a stout bottle of whisky by my side, which will subsequently be hurled at the wall. Whether in delight or in anger, only the players know.

Perfect day;

Arsenal slip up at WBA, we beat Fulham 2-1 when Jol runs onto the pitch and turns in a VdV shot before ripping off his Fulham tracksuit to reveal an enormous ****erel tattooed onto his chest.
We take third.
Saudi Sportswashing Machine win at Everton, take fourth.
Arsenal slip to fifth.
QPR take points off City and United sneak the title.
Bolton, Blackburn and wolves go down.

Nightmare day;

We struggle a bit and lose to a Dempsey stunner.
Arsenal win easily at WBA and finish third.
Saudi Sportswashing Machine thrash Everton and finish fourth.
Chelsea overtake us into fifth.
We finish sixth.
City win the title.

I bet the odds on the nightmare day are shorter than the perfect day. After years of supporting Spurs we all know its very possible it could happen too, we rarely do perfect days.

I'm really hoping Liverpool are up for it tomorrow, a lot of their fans dont seem bothered, which amazes me as a defeat means they cant finish above Everton. I'm not greedy, a draw will do me just fine, would be one less thing to worry about next Sunday

Nightmare day odds - 48/1
Perfect day odds (inc pool win vs Chelsea) - 430/1 They didn't have odds on the tatto thing.

I've found this ultra useful page on Sky Sports showing upcoming live games.. http://www.skysports.com/livefixtures

One question though, how do they know what the fixtures are going to be next March?

It appears they haven't made any announcement about what game they'll be showing?

I started to think they might even show our game. It affects both Arsenal and Saudi Sportswashing Machine. I only just realised that Saudi Sportswashing Machine could steal 3rd if neither us nor Arsenal win. I have been staring at the table too hard for too long. I think I'm going delirious.

Though it must be Emirates Marketing Project v QPR and Bolton v Stoke? Surely.

P.S. what are you doing the last game of the season? are you going to the game? hiding from the football completely? listening to the radio? doing everything you possibly can to watch?

I'm going to be stuck at work, following a late roster change, when I should have been off.
Will be following on the mobile while trying to not make errors in dispatching 200 people on flights to bloody Ibiza
