yeh he did well tbf, at the point I posted that he was coming on and I was hoping the crowd wouldn’t take it out on him and just the fact it was such a mare to come into. Ironically he may have been more relaxed knowing the game was gone when he came in and played better as a result of that!
No pressure benefitted him as the game was already over.
But I do admit the possibility that if it was at home he came on at 5 - 0 down he would have struggled more with the toxicity, but it seems a big ask to expect fans to be super positive about everything that they're seeing.
