Well put it this way. I have supported Warrington RL and Tottenham for 53 years, between them neither of them have been crowned Champions once in my lifetime. 106 seasons and not one title....
Then I look enviously at Liverpool FC supporting St Helens fans and Man United supporting Wigan RL fans and it's been a regular thing for them.
I would just take one Grand Final win for Warrington or a PL Title or CL Win for Spurs, that's why I have said many times, if we could have just beaten Liverpool in 2019 or outdone Leicester City I could live with this dross knowing I have had that feeling, and would die a happy man
I sometimes think my sons secretly hate me for supporting Spurs. It could be worse though my Mums side of the family were all Arsenal supporters luckily my Dads side followed the proper North London side
Saudi Sportswashing Machine were relegated that year whereas we were quite good iirc, of our 5 3 are Lloris, Kane & Son who despite the Lloris & Sons bad performances this season having them around isn't really the problem the tweet is trying to make out. Who are the other two? Dier and?

When we went out to Milan, my lad stood up off the couch and said “I hate Tottenham.” That’s when he became a real fan.
He sat on the same couch today furious with what he was watching no doubt fearing the pasting he’ll take in school tomorrow and feeling he’ll never see us win anything.
I felt like I was the worst dad in the world. Think he felt the same.

Off the top of my head none of them seems to have changed that much more than us, city had stones, Walker, de Brunye, silva, gundogan. United had Rashford, Fred, Shaw, Lindelof. Arsenal had Xhaka, Holding, Elneny.
Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Villa have probably changed a bit to be fair.

Nope. Nope nope nope. Sissoko would have imposed himself on the game unlike most of those fudgers on the pitch today. Not stood waving his arms like PEH or Porro whilst goals were going in. He wasn't perfect but he played with a sense of pride that was lacking out there today.

I recorded it and watched it late so haven't read the full fallout yet, but here we are, Saudi Sportswashing Machine players genuinely puzzled by how they've been allowed to score the goals that went in, getting booed for time wasting in the 2nd half in a game we had made uncompetitive because the players just didn't want to be there, and our antidote from a defensive trainwreck is bringing on Davison fudging Sanchez......
Feel for Sarr, he gave it away a couple of times but wasn't directly involved in giving away a goal. Not that he'll need it if he's bright but an explanation is due to him as that brick show wasn't his fault.
Ahh this club. It punishes you for having hope. Go back to the end of last season where we had a strong relationship between manager and DOF, a solid first team who played like a unit with a good budget to spend to get to the next level, and then slap yourself real fudging hard for thinking we'd go anywhere with it.
One banned from football, one fired for speaking the truth about the players,left with the clueless match fixer in charge, pricy new signings Richy and Bissouma who would've made no impact today if starting as the core is rotten, Bentancur crocked and Kulu looking terrible....What have I missed? Back 3 system blamed for us looking brick and a back four leads to an almost record breaking collapse... Brilliant!

Nothing added to their system by bonesaw FC though, just the standard dose of Sp ur sy virus.
Lots of individual mistakes across the back 4 and keeper and no leader to put a rocket up them. No leader on the touchline either

yeh he did well tbf, at the point I posted that he was coming on and I was hoping the crowd wouldn’t take it out on him and just the fact it was such a mare to come into. Ironically he may have been more relaxed knowing the game was gone when he came in and played better as a result of that!
