I started the thread for the Burnley game and was praised for it... especially after the game was called off.

So I'm going for a win double against Rennes..

Who knows if we'll be able to put a team out or what it will be..

For those that want us to go through, a plus should be that Rennes have already qualified and so could well play a weakened team... I'm sure that they will perform better than our reserves did though....

I don't see how that can result in anything other than us being booted out of the competition? I don't think they could say Vitesse don't qualify when they won their last group game so are still in with a chance. Unless they can force Rennes to play during their winter break, which is unlikely and would have presumably happened already if it were possible.

Yea we must be out. Can’t really blame anyone for this situation, just one of those things, although, the 31st Dec deadline to complete the games seems a bit arbitrary?

Well a lot of Spurs fans will be over the moon about this.

Because we are so great we can afford to turn our nose up at a European competition.

Obviously, we all know what is going to happen now. Leicester City will probably end up winning it

This is a strange one, I’d have thought UEFA would have wanted us to go through as we will generate more exposure for the competition. It’s also a dangerous precedent for a CL match if one side has an outbreak and plays anyway…

Can’t see anyway how we can progress if the game isn’t played. It was probably difficult to squeeze in but I’d imagine Rennes made it difficult also. I reckon it either goes down as not played or goes down as a 0-0 draw.
