The pundits can **** all they want about his performances against San Marino and Estonia. He's still not very good.

West Ham go fourth. . .

Just goes to show the importance of having an in form striker...

@OptaJoe: 5 - Diafra Sakho is only the second West Ham player to score in five consecutive Premier League games, after Carlton Cole. Streak.

Only 3 Spurs players have matched this feat since the Premier League started... if only we had a goal scorer of the calibre of a Sheringham, Keane or van der Vaart up front nowadays...

Southampton - Sunderland is a fairly even game. 50-50 possession, 12-10 in shots, 3-2 in goals.

Only problem is that all goals have been conceded by the Sunderland GK.

Not too shabby for a club with a new manager who sold most of their first team in the summer!

‏@OptaJoe: 7 - Southampton are the 14th team to score 7+ goals in a Premier League game (33rd time it has happened). Spree.

Soton have beaten Saudi Sportswashing Machine, West Ham, Swansea, QPR and now Sunderland. Loooong way to go still.
