The Official 2014/15 Premier League Thread

Should have been a draw. One of the saves of the season there.

Its very fines lines for Utd isn't it........................could easily have conceded late today and been a draw and could have been just the same last week against West Ham. The difference between 2 points or 6 points is massive ! But that's what the best teams do.

Nevertheless a good erection inducing win for the players. Now if only van gaal can stop getting overexcited and over optimistic about the results ....

Chelski getting plenty of value for money, I see. Brilliant pass, run and goal from Fabregas and Costa.

From the Guardian:

West Ham win a corner, and it’s curled very nicely into the penalty area, where it flies over a thicket of heads at the near post and dips to the far, where it hits Onuoha in the shin and flies in.

Robert Green reacts to the goal with bemusement, as if convinced that the referee must have blown his whistle and wondering why nobody else had heard it. There was no whistle, and no foul – though one of the West Ham players at the near post waved both his arms at the ball on its way past, it didn’t brush finger.

Oooh, it did brush finger! Valencia’s finger, to be precise. Possibly three or four fingers. Replays show it was a brush rather than a clump, and it didn’t divert the ball, but there were definitely fingers involved.

Watching MOTD2, wow stay classy Arsenal & Chelsea, the 1st half is how not to act and behave as footballers, still no surprise its this 2 cretinous clubs involved really....

Why is not more being made of the Wenger push? Surely that has to be bringing the game into disrepute and deserves an FA punishment?
