He's fourth choice CB at PSG! An awful lot of people opinions of him are coloured by how amazing he used to be on FM.

I don't see Liverpool having a great squad at all. I think they lack genuine top 4 type quality and all the depth that us, Man C, Man U and cheatski have.

Are people like Moses, Aspas and the CB really going to make them a top 4 team?
 
It's about being able to beat the rest. I think Liverpool have a team now where they will expect to beat the best of the rest

this is a Man Utd team with the likes of Cleverly, Giggs, Young in midfield. Welbeck up top. Valencia now playing at right back :lol:
 
Based on what I've seen from Liverpool so far this season, they look more than capable of staying in the race for 3rd/4th. The whole debate about who has the better squad and/or strength in depth is theoretical, boring and a victim of rose tinted glasses in each camp. On performance alone, Liverpool certainly look like a threat.

The article I linked to was written by people who say they have seen him play a lot, apparently he was injured a fair bit -and is competing against players like Silva. But I guess will find out how good he is soon enough -hopefully not too good.
 
Liverpools game is based round the fact that they press well and pass the ball. Rodgers has bought players known for the system and that in itself is a strength. It's all good going out and buying £25m+ players but that is all they are if they have to get used to the way you play, a luxury.

Rodgers has bought players who can play the system and play it effectively and it's working.

This United will be fighting it out to get top 4. The aren't the barometer to compare them against anymore.
