OMT - SPURS vs Vitesse

Doesn’t seem to be working with Nuno around.

Whats the solution, ask the players who they would like and then sack him when he upset them? He may not be the right man but he needs a decent chance. This was a game we were never going to win, I know that's hard for some people to accept and need to blame someone, if he picked this collection in a league game he would be to blame.

In the league games Kane is injured we play Son up front, where statistically we have a better record with him up front than Kane.

So it just boils down to the ECL games, which we will do the same as every other season in Europe .Muddle through the group stage with our reserves and then in the knockouts play a stronger team (if we are actually bothered about it)…..

But by playing Son up there u weaken the wide areas. There’s hardly bodies knocking on the door there. Look at Bergwijn.

I only saw the 2nd half, didn't think it was that bad, all things considered, the ref was very poor and gave them a FK every time they dived, which they were impressively committed to, their brickhousery coach is clearly excellent.

VAR would have changed that game tonight, Scarlett was thrown to the floor in the box for a start.

Tonight was more about who we didn't play, rather than who did, and from that perspective I think its been an ok night.

Madness ain’t it. There’s players that are 2nd choice elsewhere that would be 2nd choice here. Daka went in as 3rd choice. They already had Iheanacho. Can’t have taken too much convincing.

3rd choice knowing their isn't much in front of him, Iheanacho is brick, Vardy is 40, and brick.

A whole different ball game here.

Like I said, we have a better win record with Son up front than Kane. So when Son plays up front, something is working right.

How often do you recall neither Kane or Son playing up front? It’s a handful of games, mainly low priority cup games. Yes I’m an ideal world we would have this magical third striker for such occassions, but management have obviously decided budget is better off spent elsewhere…..

Please stop kicking Nuno. You kick and kick and kick and kick and kick and kick and need to stop it or it comes across as very... biased.
It’s a shame he can’t motivate some of his players to do some.
They could do with some fire in their belly’s

isn’t that part of the issue?

We have 2 players that have to take on a massive workload domestically and internationally.

1 or both will play against Burnley next week and the same the following week in the return leg of this.

Why is it an issue, are our players no longer capable of playing midweek games now? If it was a Champions League game they’d be playing both and nothing would be said about it, so if Nuno deems the game important enough to play them what’s the problem?

It would be talked about, as it has been for the previous seasons.

Kane picks up injuries and Son goes through periods of being average - we have no options

or as tonight we had nothing up front.

Dele and Winks yes.
I wouldn't put that label on GLC though, he just had no-one further forward to pick out who could keep the ball consistently against their physicality imo

No one in front to pass to and having to keep an on winks behind him.
That midfield was neither fish nor fowl, really can't see what we hoped to achieve tonight.
