Absolutely loved The Night Of! HBO really is the brick when it comes to tv shows.

On episode 4 of Stranger Things. Pretty good so far.

Don't normally watch much US network TV shows as I find them all quite samey but Designated Survivor is decent.

Not seen the program but the premise

West World did enough to make me interested and want to find out whats next. I think the main problem will be getting us to give a Sh*t about anyone. Robots / Guests / Scientists - just don't see who we will end up rooting for.

Sounds just about what I was expecting- I will give it a miss.
 
Its HBO so at the very least you know the technical quality will be good even if it is crap (see Vinyl). Also lots of boobs if you are after that sort of thing.

If you are not bothered by the sight of well shaped lady there are only two reasons.
One is your dead.

Just could not be bothered with Vinyl and sounds like I was right!

Right now, I'm fighting more in the robots corner. The guests have done little to show that they are a good cause to support. The guests pay money to come in to an alternative reality to shoot people, not really a great cause. It's clear who the main villain of the piece is, unless the whole thing is twisted. As for the scientists, they seem flat of character. The opening episode offered a lot of promise, I'll want to keep watching, and hope that it delivers upon the promising scenario that is set out, and fleshes out the characters so that we care more for them.
