**Official Other Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Belgium look good with the ball (Witsel, Hazard, Dembele etc) but Croatia are hustling them like motherf**kers.. crazy to watch.. proper end to end stuff.

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Wow, check out the Belgium equaliser... peach

Corner headed out to edge of box and the Right-Back I think lashed it in from 20 yards!!!

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Great goal for Ukraine. What a strike!

Unlucky from Englands point of view, they should be ahead.

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Manchester United's Robin van Persie was substituted at half-time with a suspected thigh injury during Holland's 4-1 Group D win over Hungary. The Dutch manager, Louis van Gaal, later said the striker was taken off as a "precautionary measure".

Van Persie took two knees to the thigh in a challenge with the Hungarian defender Roland Juhasz and was replaced by Klaas-Jan Huntelaar. Van Gaal said: "We took off Robin for precautionary measures. It doesn't seem to be too serious, but you never know. We didn't want to take any risks."

NOW he gets injured. ](*,)

INTERNATIONAL ROUND-UP - WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS

Gareth Bale scored an amazing free-kick for Wales against Serbia - but it was scant consolation on a night to forget for Chris Coleman's men in World Cup qualfying Group A.

Already trailing 2-0 in Novi Sad, Gareth struck a free-kick from 30 yards that swerved wickedly in the air from right to left, leaving home goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic helpless.

The goal should have offered Wales hope but they conceded again in the 39th minute to trail 3-1 at half-time and then fell to a 6-1 defeat in the second half. Gareth played the full 90 minutes.

Staying in Group A, Jan Vertonghen and Mousa Dembele both started as Belgium came from 1-0 down to draw 1-1 against Croatia in Brussells. Jan played 90 minutes, Mousa was replaced by Kevin de Bruyne in the 72nd minute.

Jermain Defoe also played 90 minutes and had a goal disallowed in the first half as Frank Lampard scored a late equaliser for England to rescue a point against Ukraine in Group H. Kyle Walker and Jake Livermore remained on the bench at Wembley.

Gylfi Sigurdsson and Iceland's fine start with a win against Norway on Friday was dented somewhat by a 1-0 loss in Cyprus in Group E. Konstantinos Makridis hit the winner in Larnaca in the 57th minute. Gylfi played the full match.

Hugo Lloris captained France again as they made it two wins out of two in Group I with a 3-1 success against Belarus at the Stade de France.

he'll be back on Sat/Sun. same as kagawa. old fergie pulling strings again.

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Kane has done well since he came on.

Is his preferred position inside forward or striker?

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Some good actions from Kane after coming on

Shoots like a girl though

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

I don't know why but Kane always got a rough ride on here. He is obviously a talent. Needs to improve his finishing but that can be done.

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

thought Kane looked good. Id be surprised if Coulibaly looks good in the premier league at his age.

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Kane looked much better than he ever has for us. Even showed a burst of pace there near the end. But perhaps he was just up against a very tired full back. A shame he couldn't put away his big chance though.

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

It wasn't the worst shot but he sort of showed his hand to the keeper early with his body shape. Overall he did very well in his 20 min cameo I thought. He needs a goal for his confidence though.

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Buttner making his debut for Man Utd.. no Kagawa and VP on the bench

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Good confidence-building performance from Harry Kane (given Norwich's 37 shirt) today.

A shame he never put that chance away but I'm sure he will improve as the season wears on.

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**
