Funny enough i just watched the HD extended version on my new HD projector the other night....Great film loads of stuff in there i had forgotten about.

Good point on The Matrix actually.
But yeah I'm with Mumorn., remakes upset me greatly. Like that brick with the Incredible Hulk and Spiderman, proper tinkle take but people still go to watch it....

Pretty sure the first Matrix was meant to stay as a single film, hence the closure at the end, Neos the one, all is good etc... It was only after it done so well they shoe horned in the next 2 utter brick films to capitalise. Those are the worst sequels, much like Ace Ventura 2.
Will also echo Murmons comment that reboots are the real problem, a new fudging Red Dawn... Ffs.

Sequels are generally good when they progress the story, rather than basically trying to remake the original (usually with cheaper actors).

The Bourne and Star Wars movies are based upon successful series of novels so have no excuse for not being good. What is annoying is when a one-off movie does well at the box office and the people behind it decide to cash-in by releasing a half-baked follow up like Speed 2, Ace Ventura 2, The Matrix 2 & 3.

The sex scene on the race track in front of a full crowd is pretty memorable, I'll give you that. But otherwise it's an atrocious waste of everyone's time and money.

The era I loved about F1. The drivers and the cars still live in my memory, Jody Schekter,Jochen Mass,Emerson Fittipaldi,Jean-Pierre Jarier and Jacques Lafitte in his Blue Ligier(my favourite car)
