Ok I watched a really gruesome movie

American Pie - The Reunion

Wasnt great although have seen it before.

I did download Insiduous though and will watch it next weekend

Orphan looks good though - hmmmmmmm maybe horror weekend

Insidious is ABSOLUTELY brick! Do not watch.

Orphan is pretty good, watch that.

Can someone recommend a very good excellent horror? I dont really like Horrors - I like to watch movies to be entertained and to laugh hence like the silly movies BUT I wanna try out a horror - recommendations please.

How about 'irreversible'? Not a horror so to speak yet genuinely horrifying. Brilliantly filmed and so hard hitting you won't want to watch more than once?

I bought it many years ago and someone asked to borrow it and I just said "keep it. Great film but I will never put myself through that again!"

Heard enough about The Human Centipede to know that I never, ever want to watch. You really are a sick fudge if you enjoy that kind of torture porn.

Ah Lordy I know exactly what you mean.

Two films for me that are like that are Requiem for a Dream and, to a lesser extent, Dead Man's Shoes. Those films are great but draining.

Love Dead Man's Shoes, great film and gritty (a word used far too easily for films these days).

Yeah, it's brilliant. I've never seen a film switch like that. At the beginning it's like a comedy with those small time Northern dealers and then they get dosed and it becomes so, so bleak.

Stick the kettle on...
