I'd take anything above £2 million. If he keeps working hard on his game he could be lower midtable quality, but will never be CL material or even EL.

Would be surprised if Livermore went for less.

You'd think we might be, but with the bumper tv rights package coming in next season prices are just going to go up.

It's something Fergie has been an expert on. Give them a few games in the first team to boost their reputation, then dump them on someone foolish anyone to pay the asking price.

He's only started 3 games this season while last year looked good and had a few MotM performances - out of his depth?

I know English players go for a premium, but I would still sell for that. If he wasn't such a hard worker he'd be Championship bound.

IMO he's just slightly less talented than O'Hara, but with a better attitude. Never rated either of them.

Just checked the Motm poll on SC and Benny was top with 48 votes, Livermore 2nd with 27, VDV 26, Luka 4.

Everyone's forgotten last season, then? He seemed composed, solid and dependable; hardly 'Championship material'.

So he's struggling. So he's a bit limited technically. Every young player will have a few off-months (especially under a new manager), and I don't recall Wilson Palacios having much technical ability, yet we were sufficiently moved to spend, what, 12 million quid on him.

I'd prefer he be loaned to a side that will play him regularly in January. Perhaps to Norwich or someone. Then, we can make a decision when he comes back in May, when presumably we'll be looking to sell Parker to maximise what revenue we can get from his re-sale.
