General Transfer Rumour Discussion Thread

Sadly I think the manner of his departure will mean that there is no chance of signing him. One of the best strikers I have seen play for Spurs, but an absolute **** to boot. Can't see him fitting in to Pochettino's high work ethic!

I think this is the main problem.

I think as a last 20min/plan B type player when we are chasing a game we could far worse.

Worth a pay-as-you-play contract?
Brilliant player, but it seems he cant stay fit. Have litteraly lost two seasons (at least) with injuries since he signed for Lyon. I don't think he's the answer to our CM.

"Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri has said he did not know about new signing Vlad Chiriches until he saw him at the club.

The Romanian defender arrived at the Azzurri training camp in Dimora on Tuesday was being put through his paces as part of a medical on Wednesday before a reported €6 million transfer from Tottenham Hotspur.

Sarri said he had bumped into the 25-year-old on his way to a news conference, and La Repubblica reported him as saying: "I only saw him play once six months ago and I know very little about him. But if he's been signed, it must mean he's got quality."

Oh dear...

De Laurentiis is close to the Palermo chairman Zamparini when it comes to making decisions without consulting the manager ;)

I saw the link to Susic on the THBN website a few days ago. I didn't give it much thought as it was one of those unknown players.

Don't depress me by saying it could be true! Say "its only the Star, they are worse than the Metro"
