Well Ade is as good as gone, I can't envisage us letting him go without someone else not pretty far down the line? Perhaps it's Lambert, with Berahino being one done closer to end of the window with Soldado leaving as can imagine both those deals taking longer to conclude than Lambert who would only cost a minimal fee....
 
They are just using the Pch and Lambert Southampton connection to make a story.

Besides, the itk have not said anything about it so it can't be true can it?

It looks like Villa want to announce all 3 of their new signings at the same time. Kind of their post-Benteke bounce back (like our 7 Beatles photoshoot)

Some Sun journalist also reckons Ade has signed on a permanent deal, so that might also explain the delay

Fee said to be 9 million. Sunderland's been paying him insane wages since he was 18. Average player for lots of money, bad signing.

11 goals in 74 PL games for Sunderland.
22 goals in 82 Championship games for Ipswich and loans at Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday.

Tottenham Hotspur will open talks with Stuttgart over signing German teenager Timo Werner.

With Emmanuel Adebayor moving to Aston Villa on loan and the club still looking to offload Roberto Soldado, Spurs are in desperate need for forwards ahead of the new season.

Tottenham are interested in West Bromwich Albion’s Saido Berahino, but their valuation of the player is more than £10million less than the Baggies’.

With Berahino’s future unlikely to be fully cleared up until near the end of the transfer window, Spurs are attempting to push ahead with a move for Werner, who can play anywhere across a front three. Stuttgart are understood to want around £8m for the 19-year-old.
