Primary/designated penalty takers were off the pitch, he had no idea who was going to take it, manager shouted for him to take it, he stepped up and put it away.

That's massive balls from Devine, and a lot of trust from the manager (and whatever senior players were left on the pitch). He must really be tearing it up at training to engender that sort of confidence. Looking at the celebrations after the penalty, it seems that the other players have really taken to him. And not just because it was a match-winner.

Bold move to recall and send him to the championship, hope it works well as it'll be a bit of a misfire if we've knowingly interrupted a loan going well. I like Plymouth Argyle though, will definitely keep a look out for their results given that they look set to have two of our prospects.
