Serious relegation fears

Suddenly Leicester are favourites again.

going by your predictions, Leicester will virtually have the title wrapped up with two games each left to play??!!

...and us to only lose one more game? Don't think so. We'll be coming up against Utd and Liverpool just as they've hit form.

2 things about this thread :

1) predicting results 5 games from now is absurd

2) There will be so many twists and turns with 3 games to go, let alone 10 games to go.

take a deep breath

It feels like no team wants it at the moment.. This weekend's game just got so much bigger (if that's possible!)

A win will be monumental! But you just know Arsenal will be at us like a cut snake following a few really average performances.

We need to come out absolutely firing like we have for most of this season.

This has to be one of the more ridiculous phrases that has become commonplace in the media these days when discussing English football. Of course they want it but its football, things don't always go the way you think, only one team can win.

Do you for a second seriously think even a turd like Walcott doesn't want to win the league?

I'm not having a dig at you by the way. As for the weekend, it is a genuine six pointer and Poch will have his work cut out lifting the players in a physical sense, but its a derby so mentally they'll be bang up for it.

I for one fancy us to hold our nerve mainly due to the home ground advantage. Big role for the crowd to play.

I totally understand where you're coming from, I've probably used the phrase incorrectly after having it drilled into my brain by sport media. I'm aware most teams want to win, but what I saw tonight was the 'weakest' performance we've turned in for a long time.

I guess what I was trying to get at is that (warning: cliche overload ahead) no team has been able to grab the bull by the horns, throw down the gauntlet and make themselves title favourites when the opportunity has presented itself.. It's all so up in the air! That's more along the lines of what my brain was thinking but my fingers failed to convert to type.

Also for what it's worth, not sure Walcott is the best example.. Having a 'weak mentally' would be an understatement when describing that useless cretin.

the way I see it, 10 games left, 7 or 8 wins which we're more than capable of and we'll go close.
if anyone betters our record over the next 10 then they'll deserve to be champions.

cue me getting abused.

Said it all along, its nice to be in the title race, but our real battle is for 4th spot v United. Anything else is a bonus.

This Saturday is big. United at home is massive

Totally agree, everything was against us last night but other than Man U no one could take advantage.
Look at the teams around us
Arsenal, injuries piling up and form dropping
Emirates Marketing Project, injuries piling up and can't be arsed
Man U, on a decent run but really who have they beaten? Except Arsenal, who were crud, they've scraped by much lesser teams.
Leicester, well I don't really know what to say about them, just reminds me so much of Liverpools Suarez season. Will it get to them? Who knows.
I don't see anything to fear there. Not saying it's a stick for the title but it's there for us.

Please can we not post the bbc predictor. As soon as that is posted on here, our season is fudged.

It's a league where quality has been disseminated right the way through, we are going to lose games and so will other 'top' teams because they aren't the only ones with money any more.

I knew last night would be extremely tough. It really was their Cup final and they've actually got some quality players to hurt us. But champions lose games, we just need to bounce back. We stuck 5 past Chelsea last year and they won the league.

Suddenly Leicester are favourites again.

I think we need to change our mindset if we are to win the title (though it is painful to do!)

We should really be beating United at home at fingers crossed on Saturday. That is the true form of champions! (gulp)

You could debate the results endlessly but there are going to be so many twists and turns to this season to go it is going to be nail biting.

Predicted (and also betted on it) Leicester to loose points against West Brom.
Predicted us to loose points against spam (although I thought we would nick a draw).

I think Lieceister is going to draw or even loose against Watford. And we have an edge against scum in all aspects and should defenitely go for a win.
Still we need more failures from Leicester in future, because we'll be loosing points against some teams which are peaking now (pool, chelsea, maybe even MU).

Yesterday's loss was painful but we take it on the shin and move on. This year promises to be one of the best years for Spurs in the Premier League era. Lets do the best we can. If we win the league - then so be it. Lets just give it our best shot.

PS My only upset is that we refused to get a backup striker in the transfer window.

If Leicester win it i would be gutted as if they win it so could we have won it.

If Arsenal win it i would also be gutted for obvious reasons but you sort of expect them to and you say, well they challenge most years so its going to happen one time.
