*** The Official 'How do you stop Emirates Marketing Project?!?!' OMT ***

Are you watching BT now? it's cleared up and it was not taken at the same time (which was obvious). That being said, he was onside BUT you could see why the lino called it offside.

BT showed a frame that was maybe one further on than the screenshot above, but either way we agree he was on.

Yes, I can see why it was given and I can see why Rose was penalised but it doesn't make it correct.

This is why you ****ing play a defensive midfield...to have a better chance of protecting the Centre-backs...big difference between a 0-2 loss and a 5-1 (when in the first half it could have been 4...)

Two big games against very high-flying opposition in good form...and still TS doesn't learn

FFS!!!

Hard to say. Couldn't have done worse.

It could. It's not a combination that has played before or a formation that we have played often. There must also be doubts about whether we would have posed enough of a threat going forward (I know that we didn't pose much of a threat anyway but...) and this would have just invited Emirates Marketing Project further forward.

And if Rose hadn't been sent off we'd have had 11 players on the pitch and if Daws's goal had been given we'd have had another one and if and if and if. There's one about an Aunt with balls too.

I was allowing for the Rose decision being corrected when I made that comment. We were getting docked before the sending off, we got docked after it. Didn't really make much difference.

The pics are not taken at the same time. Wasn't the debate that Zabaletta kept him on? there would be no debate at all with the 2nd pic as Toure, as well as 4 other players are keeping him on.

THIS. The players are in different positions in each side of the shot.

Was there much difference between today and AVB's last game vs Liverpool?

Yes. Our defence was all at sea against Liverpool and we completely lost our shape. Neither of these was a problem tonight, although obviously it was not our best performance.

Surely we were 1-0 down having had a goal chalked off in error before the sending off?

Have you seen a shot that clearly shows that Daws was offside? We can argue about inconclusive pictures but they do not prove anything either way.

Really?? From when I listened (in and out on the radio) City could have scored 4 or 5 by the time of Dawson's disallowed goal..

It hurts when you dont get the rub of the green, but hand on heart, it was men against boys, even without them decisions against us. What annoys me most is that we looked terrified and clueless from the kick off, and that was the one thing I did'nt expect from a Sherwood team. You could tell after 5 minutes the way this game was going to go, and it did exactly that. Sherwood talks a good game, but then again so did AVB.

Its how you lose that can be the most depressing thing. We capitulated and it was so very very predictable. Often other teams get a man sent off and still only lose by one or two goals. With us its 4, 5 or 6 EVERY time. Im sure nearly all of us thought the second Rose saw red that we would ship 5 goals (at the very least).

I guess its a wake up call. Do we REALY think we can appoint a virgin manager with zero premiership managerial experience and somehow make the top 4 this season ? Its a ludicrous fantasy.

On the plus side, this was against a stunning Emirates Marketing Project side who I've said all season will walk the title. They will hammer better teams then us on the way.

If in a years time, TS is still making those errors and we get beat by such scorelines, but its been around 6-8 weeks. So I would suggest lets give this a rest as its a bit dry really. Im sure some on here who keep spouting the same **** should also realise how boring they sound. Im sure such people are even fed up of spouting the same crap day in... day out...

Gotta agree with this. Our defence and midfield were terrible for the opening 30 minutes. I didn't watch the second half, so can't say if there was any change.

They never stopped moving, getting into positions and as usual our forward passes were just off and the ball always bounced slightly the wrong way.
