*** The Official 'How do you stop Emirates Marketing Project?!?!' OMT ***

I watched both games start to finish and while both results are horrific you cannot say we capitulated like at the Etihad. Yes, they swarmed us for much of the first half but tonight we showed some grit and character.

I think if City had their shooting boots on tonight they could have scored at least another 4.

I wasnt confident of us getting anything before kick-off so the resukt wasnt expected.

Disappointed with the first 30/35mins, we were outclassed, but...at the end of the day, City hadnt converted their chances and at 1-0 we were effectively still in the game. 2 poor decisions have taken the game out of our reach and once it 10v11 their was only one outcome.

Happy that we didnt capitulate and thats a big plus for me.

You have to chalk that one off and look to getting back on track at Hull, which I think we will. Chins up lads dont get too down on the team.

For me Ade was offside as he did interfere by challenging for the ball. Also at real time it does almost look like he flicked it on and Dawson was well in advance at that stage.

West Ham have now kept 10 clean sheets (most in the league) this season compared to Hugo's 9.

I think if City had their shooting boots on tonight they could have scored at least another 4.

And if Rose hadn't been sent off we'd have had 11 players on the pitch and if Daws's goal had been given we'd have had another one and if and if and if. There's one about an Aunt with balls too.

Yeah he was in line with Zabaleta but well past Toure so obviously that pic wasn't taken at the time Eriksen delivered.

Pretty much what i've been saying.

How could anyone even think it was taken at the same time? the debate was that Zabeleta kept him onside? that pic shows 4 PEOPLE keeping him on.

In regard to the disallowed 'goal' I thought Ade got a touch with his head before Dawson banged it in.

Depressing stuff modern football can be sometimes, when playing against bankrolled sides like Chelsea & City it's like being in the school playground and 2 captains picking sides for a kick-about with only 1 of them knowing who all the good players are and selecting them. Then all you get is a one-sided game and the 'poor' team get downhearted and spanked.

Sending off was a joke (McAnally on Sky has just said it was a defo pen and red card...WTF!) and we may have come back into it but City were a class above, added to our best player (IMO) at the time going off injured at H/T and some hard luck the scoreline is understandable. The effort was there but the positioning, control and passing wasn't.

If we have learnt something tonight it is surely that people should think before they start half-arsed pseudo-OMTs. I'm looking at you superfaisty.

The pics are not taken at the same time. Wasn't the debate that Zabaletta kept him on? there would be no debate at all with the 2nd pic as Toure, as well as 4 other players are keeping him on.

Right, if it's that close a call, then maybe we should leave the lino's testies on? At least until the red card?
