*TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Stevenage OMT *

Fair play to you, MK and Dubai for debating the point rather than getting all irate that I was criticising a fans favourite. Too many people are quick to lynch if Parker is criticised.

It's nice to be able to have a debate. It's all good. Not so long ago we only had the Zok, now we have Scotty, Sandro and Jake.

BBC Sport said our penalty was controversial, was it? Looked like a pen from block 21 where I was sitting. Their penalty definitely didn't look like a pen.

Dawson injury looks bad. Gutted for him. 3 serious injuries in less than 2 seasons now.

Any news on Lennon?

gutted hammys gone again did all the strength work as well but no luck this yr, hope daws isn't too bad either on a positive buzzing we won!

No one expects you to change your opinion of Parker, all of us most have had plenty of players over the years who we weren't keen on and no amount of persuading could change our minds, Lee YoungPyo is one of mine btw despite everyone on here thinking he was good. But I think you sell Parker short. It's comments like he's no better than Michael Brown that irk people.

Two things I've taken from tonight's game:

1) 3rd is over, with these injuries on top of our deepening mental sclerosis;
2) How laughable that we have no idea how to defend corners against a team two leagues below us. Perhaps it might be time to try and do something about that? Just a thought.

I didn't see the game.

Obviously, sounds like Daws will be out for a long while.

What about Lennon? Did it look like a bad one?

Any others injured?

Lennon just took a knock, I think; he appeared to walk off normally and went straight down the tunnel. He might have pulled something, I suppose.

How dare you criticise Lee? Best left-back in the PL era, better than Benny, the worthless sack of brick, are you even a Spurs fan, etc, etc...;)

Like nelto said, it's good to be able to have a debate about which of our three DMs is the best. Not so long ago, we had only Zokora.

And for what it's worth, Jurgen, I agree with you; Lee Young-Pyo was nowhere near as good as some people made him out to be.

I can only imagine Lennon did his hamstring (natural Spurs occurence for every player monthly)

We can only hope he called it before it tore (i.e. getting tight, etc.) so the damage was minimised. 1-2 weeks of rest.

If Dawson did his ligaments (1,2 or all 3) could be out for 3-6-8 months respectively. In addition - those, once recovered are generally never as 'strong' or flexible so he might be in trouble for the future. Again - depends on the severity of the tear (slight or complete separation). ACL injuries are qunts unfortunately

Sigh. It looks like we'll have to buy a CB in the summer then, if he won't be as good as he could have been without the injury. fudge fate. Daws doesn't deserve this. Why can't repeated, serious injuries like this happen to a Grade A ****, instead of Daws? He's a genuinely fantastic bloke, and I'm really sorry for him.

The big question for Daws is - was that the same knee he did against Bulgaria (JD hat-trick time) If so - he could be really, really fcuked, Woody style

Sadly, I suspect some of our fans might be rejoicing this

They're ****s. I'm sorry. They're my fellow Spurs brethren (and.err..'sister-en'?), but they're ****s. Daws has routinely given everything for this club, has never ,ever spoken a bad word against it in the press, and, most importantly, is a top, top bloke. I'd never want an injury to hit anyone, but it really saddens me that a serious injury like this has happened to Daws, who doesn't deserve it. And he deserves the scorn of some of our fans even less.

I hope it's not true, I really do. I want to believe that our fans as a whole have a bit of decency and are generally nice people.

But deep down, I know you're right.

By rights it should be a routine win at home. But this is Spurs, we dont always do routine. I can see this still being 0-0 at HT.
ESPN will start to sense a w#nkathon over an upset. Could even be like Shamrock, we may even go 1-0 down but win 3-1 in the end.
Just no extra-time or penalties please

Can I at least have half a badge?

Only the fans who are qunts:evil:

According to the Sun (who probably knows fudge all): Dawson's injury is more serious as he suffered ruptured ankle ligaments AND damage to his knee. The defender was taken to hospital and will miss the run-in and Euro 2012.

I couldnt believe the lack of concentration at set pieces, at one point Kaboul and Nelsen were having a casual chat whilst two Stevenage players were left unmarked for a corner.

Both penalties were fine. For their penalty Nelsen didn't touch the ball, he did touch the man, Stevenage player went down easily, but that's to be expected. For our penalty the defender didn't touch the ball, there was clear contact with Bale. No doubt a penalty.

It's probably right. Rarely seen Dawson in such pain for such an amount of time and he had to be stretchered off. There was also a very telling clip shown on tv of one of the physios (I think) coming out and talking to the main physio (I think, guy who always wears the blue gloves) after Dawson had been stretchered off and you could see both the physio and a player sitting behind him shirking as they were told what was wrong. Can hope, but in this case I think it's hoping against all hope to think that he will return for us this season.
