Still out of position and not comfortable. But we survive another day and it’s not a reflection on the playersThey're only 'out of position' if we go by the book. He plays them in another way.

Complete lack of game awareness, surely he could see Veliz couldn’t stand up let alone run?Passing to Veliz rather than son was criminal form him

I really really hope that is the last time we see the Skipp/Hojberg combo

It was definitely when Gil hit the bar.The commentators reckoned Veliz injured himself when Gil hit the bar but I’m convinced it was when Hojbjerg played that poor pass which Veliz had to stretch for.
Yea he’d already gone down once before the Hojberg break. It was definitely when Gil hit the bar.

Ah fair enough. Probably exacerbated it by stretching for the ball though.
Looks like he's off to Juve then - Allegri has been speaking about him by name
Interesting, no way I see him out without an incoming?
No way Chelsea gives us Gallagher even if he and Mauricio fall out..Gallagher then? Lots of noises around him

Timing of when he came on made a differenceI might be in the minority here but I thought we improved when Hojbjerg came on against Bournemouth. We were really struggling to get out of our half and retain any possession before he came on but I thought our play was much more calm with him on the pitch.
I get that he’s not a long term option for the way we want to play under Postecoglou but he has been quite important for us as an option off the bench this season and if we are selling him then we need a decent replacement who can hit the ground running.
i think it makes sense for us to keep him till the end of the season anyway. He’s clearly not a bad apple and has had to play quite a lot of minutes. i think we’d still get £15m or so for him his summer and having him here until then IMO is worth more than the £5m or so more that we might get for him now.Timing of when he came on made a difference
They had made their changes and gave up their huge tactical win on our right
Pierre was fine but that pass to Veliz was dumb
He was also the guy running down the byline for the cross to Gil which was great play
I agree that whoever comes in has to be able to hit the ground running. But I’ll also add I don’t see anyone buying him in January because his fee will be too high
