Antonio Conte - officially NOT the coach of THFC

He's not happy with losing. He's suffering as he has said this week we need to suffer when we lose.

Does that mean he'll walk? Ofcourse not.

Let him rant and sulk and moan. Losing to fudging burnley deserves that. I hope he is like that the whole journey back home and the players hate it.

It's this isn't it?

We all knew the type of character Conte was when we appointed him - i remember him in a post game interview for Chelsea where he has fighting back the tears because of the teams performance! He's melodramatic/highly strung and egotistical, this is what we have to put up with along the way - rewind a few interviews and he was saying he was well aware the job at hand was one which will take several windows, this is nothing new to him - this is just how he processes it

Happened with ndombele. Just sayin.

Nah - @yiddo37 mentioned Conte getting his four or five first choices, which ambitious clubs would do - but we have never, ever, ever done that. Even that summer - iirc, we cheaped out on Fernandes over 10m and bought Lo Celso instead, and we allegedly cheaped out on Dybala because of his image rights (although there I think Levy was just pretending, tbh).

We don't back managers under ENIC. Never have, never will.

Conte took about three months to see through Levy like a wet tissue. I hope he's squirming, because I think the fans are a) behind Conte, and b) ready to make his matchday experiences...distinctly unpleasant when Conte walks.

Yes in the summer. This season is now basically a right off with an fa cup run.
It’s far from a wrote off IMO
Said it before tonight, the European places will come down to how the teams do against each other so that’s still to happen
FA cup is something conte did really well in at Chelsea too
And of course he is learning about the team and his tactics every game

100%
He is a basically a Spurs fan in disguise. Over react to anything negative and under react to anything positive

nobody has ever got their first five choices, else we would have seen Lamela, Sissoko, Bale, Messi, Ronaldo in the same team

Dunno about under react - we were potentially the best group of players he'd ever worked with after the City game :D

Trouble is our fans just won't be able to cope with it, especially when you have toxic clams waiting in the shadows to pounce on anything negative that furthers their agenda

Conte ain’t walking away from his £15M a year job
He didn’t even walk at Chelsea yet called them all clams basically until he was sacked and then Went to court for the money
He didn’t walk at inter. He refused the pay cut (that didnt get much reporting) to go with selling the players so they agreed he could leave with no severance
He is just over reacting like a normal Italian man when he doesnt get his Espresso in the morning …
He will be fine on Saturday unless Leeds take the lead then he will kick Bielsas bucket whilst he is sat on it

Said it in the match thread I could name the ones who will be out in full force again…
It’s weird
I even checked a few accounts activity after Saturday night and there was nothing
It’s the sadist in these fans… very odd to me but then that’s why there Spurs fans I guess

Remember that discussion about Chelsea not being far better than us? Changed your mind yet? [emoji1787][emoji28]

No not at all
As I said at the time we’re a few players away and the season ain’t over. I saw Chelsea really struggle vs palace at the weekend
I don’t over react
I didn’t expect anything more than a draw tonight. We should have got one but we didnt take the few chances we had and they did. It’s football
It’s why the season ain’t a write off for me
I’ve had a mate tell me Arsenal are flying and they have games in hand (remember when that was us)… Exocet they have scored 4 goals this year and their games in hand are us, Chelsea and Liverpool.
United still look bland but have strung together a few wins
West Ham look tired IMO
Wolves are the form team in the pack right now and are so hard to beat

yeah, we know that, some of the players are clams, they've got three managers fired by "being clams"

we've changed the structure of the club, I'm confident Levy will handle things differently this time, that's why we have Paratici, that's why Nuno was kicked out long before his record justified it, and why we've hired Conte

Levy has realised the mistake he made getting rid of Jose so quickly, the same way he learned from binning AVB too early, which probably was why we gave Poch so much time in the hope he'd turn it around

he's using the media to send messages, up and down
Gave Poch so much time????

None of our rivals are perfect but neither are we. Like you I thought a draw would have been a fair result, neither team exactly shone and there were very few clear cut chances or even decent quality half chances. Yet at the same time I didn't think it was horrible performance, just a meandering one.

Your optimism does amuse me though. Don't ever change, it will make it much more boring for you.

He had a year of terrible performances, Nuno got what a month, AVB, 6 weeks.
AVB never had any good performances in the first place. [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787] We were dreadful the whole time under him. I blame the lack of getting his players though so that was on the board and of course your man Levy.

he set a new record points total for us

and when we fired him, he had more points from the head to head games than he'd achieved in that record points total season
