KUMB forums: West Ham have had 8 offers accepted for players....all 8 players didn't join because we couldn't reach their wage demands

Mild chuckle aside, good to see clubs not bowing to the demands of average players.

By all accounts Gallas was one of them.

If people are talking about spending £ / €40m on Falcao, I think I'd rather Llorente. But that's more of a guy feeling rather than having any solid knowledge to back it up.

I doubt we'd have both Ade and Llorente - Ade and Falcao would give us more option tactically, imv

why dont Atletico give us Adrian for 15 million pounds, and we give them GDS for 5 million pounds.....job done

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is understood to be fuming that Zeki Fryers has defected to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Daily Mail claims Ferguson is seething over the loss of Fryers, who is the third of United’s 2011 FA Youth Cup-winning team to leave Old Trafford in the last six months.

Although he was happy to let the troubled Ravel Morrison join West Ham in January, Ferguson was known to be keen to keep hold of Fryers and Paul Pogba, who has departed for Juventus.

However, Fryers has not been seen at the club’s Carrington training ground since his contract expired and is signing for Tottenham on a four-year deal.

United will demand £6 million in training compensation for the England youth team defender although Spurs expect to pay significantly less.

10 million pounds plus Gio for Adrian, you mean? depends. Personally, I haven't been overly convinced by either Gio or Adrian, so the point in swapping them remains somewhat lost on me. They both have potential. That's about it at this point in time. So why swap them?

No one messes with Levy, Alex. No one.

I wonder if there is something going on behind the scenes there.

yeah but swap deals never happen, they would be separate deals as i suggested

Imo they have different attributes and we would get the better end of both deals

Hehe...love the sense of 'fudge you' that is coming through.

I know we are only getting our own back with a back up left back as opposed to a 30m pound striker, but it's still nice to watch them fume while we take something from them for once.

It's all about money.

Even Welbeck is asking for £60K a week.

thats not a bad request when his striking partner is on over 200k a week, and another striker called Berbatov is sitting on the bench earning around 100k a week

agree totally, especially as he knows a lotof clubs would pay him that, there are a lot of average players earning much more than that in this country

I'd would hope AVB has worked out Bale plays on the left

Bale joined us as a left back, then he evolved into a left winger, who knows what a bit of coaching and time can do to his performances playing on the right of a 4-3-3 attack. We really dont know, he is still a young player and is developing all the time.
