Is there evidence that someone who has had covid can’t spread it if they pick up the virus again? Genuine question.

If he's concerned about that kind of level of risk (three or four in a million), then I'll assume he's staying indoors during thunderstorms and getting himself checked for breast cancer.

It would act differently to almost every virus we know about if they can.

Also, if that's the case then a vaccine won't do us much good.
 
As there is no official stance on whether immunity results from having had covid, and as there is therefore no provision for this built into Test & Trace, Boris has little option but to follow the instruction from Test & Trace to self-isolate. To do otherwise would just be seen as re-writing the rules when it suits, and another 'one rule for them' scenario.

In which case they need to rewrite the rules to something more sensible.

Another good reason not to use that ridiculous app.

No none. But unless your in favour of the whole country quarantining and I am not, then the way to move forward is with face masks and regular washing of hands. As pointed out if we did this at the start like the South Koreans then we would be going about our business relatively normally now.

Not so sure about that.

That's precisely what was done in the Czech Republic, along with travel restrictions in and out (although their large land borders make that almost impossible to enforce). Their case rates are pretty terrible right now.

He’ll be delighted to self-isolate. Two weeks of no PMQs. Somebody else has to try to sort out the Brexit deal.

Meanwhile he gets to sit in his pants, drinking wine and doing nothing. Which won’t be anything too removed from the norm for him; only difference is this week he doesn’t have to wear a hi-vis and tour a factory midweek.

I thought I’d read that the vaccine may stop you getting serious symptoms but may not stop you transmitting. Don’t know if that’s the case with the annual flu vaccine?

What’s angry about my post? I live in a place where lockdowns and covid are fast becoming a thing of the past, it’s summer for the next seven months and i have a beautiful fiancee who i love. Adelaide will deal with this latest minor flare up in less than two weeks is my prediction. Happy to come back to you on that though and if you’re right about seven months I’m sure you'll let me know. Also its not the size of the population which dictates the success or the failure of lockdowns, its the willingness of the population. As you prove along with many rednecks in the US, stupid is what stupid does. :)
