He clearly fills a gap in our squad.

Ward Prowse would fit from what I’ve seen
People will say he isn’t a DM... but his defensive stats are great and better than Holdberg (this is 35 vs 31 games though)

Im not sure with attacking players from France. He could be another Thauvin or Afra. He sure seems to have all the skills you need. Runs at pace and keeps the ball under control when doing so.

I watch at least two french football matches a week and love the league but its attacking players i have a hard time judging.

One player who has stood out for me is Camavinga who might sadly be above our level already. Some seem to rate him just because he is young. But actually its is his positioning and reading of the game. He never seems out of place and has so much time on the ball. I really think he can level up and is a once in a generation talent.

If were looking for defensive midfielders then Sangare with 12 months left òn his contract would be far superior to sissoko already in my view.

I think that there's a risk that Lille will be looking for a similar fee to what they got from Arsenal for Pepe last year.

Yep exactly, and he might be another Pepe.

I do like Omishen but the way French sides set up someone with pace can look like a world beater.

I agree. At the right price, he's worth a punt but he's probably not available at the right price.

There are plenty of good forwards in Germany who would probably be less of a risk.
