The glorious march to CL qualification

They will pay him £400k a week and he won't care that they are brick

He has won a world cup and league titles with Juve. In a couple of years I expect he will put in a shift and try and get a champs league medal. But really now he justs wants to earn as much as possible before going in on a clothing range with Lewis Hamilton.

The other 3 all have their issues.

We should walk into the top 4 (and probably 3rd) as we're strong in all the areas the others are having problems with. The only issue we have is we're a bit banged up. But I'm sure Dier, Big Vic, Pamela, Aurier, Winks will all be available at some point for our final games. As long as Rose, Jan ,Toby, and Sonny stay healthy it's all good.

Just got back in and caught up with todays results, didn't expect that. I thought one of Arsenal or Utd would draw, but for both to lose is a huge bonus for us.

Feeling very positive about qualification now.

I know some and the ones that I know are ok. Whereas I hate all that City stand for. A club that tries to spend its way to the top, commits FFP fraud, and has arrogance above itself. Don’t know why they didn’t really receive much punishment for dodging FFP rules.
OK, then let's settle for not wanting the clams whose fault it is we all sit down at football matches to win the league then.

What a surprise Arsenal lost again! Despite what everyone seems to be predicting their form isn’t going to miraculously change and they win every game, they are in the position they are for a reason, they are good, but really not that good and only got a result against us because we were in the midst of Poch’s worst run of form and results since he’s been here!

It’s a been a great weekend for us for sure. Having said that they’re still only 1 point behind us which shows how below par we’ve been in the league. And to be fair arsenal look very menacing going forward. It’s all in our hands again. We’ve probably got the nicest fixtures until the end although I’m expecting West Ham and Everton to be tough games. We need to make sure we turn up cos West Ham will be up for it.

Are you all done worrying about Arsenal yet? :p I even gave them a win at home to Palace and still had them struggling to get ahead of us, no chance now. It will be us 3rd and Chelsea 4th I think. I will have to alter my previous prediciton where I had Utd winning at home to Chelsea, I think Chelsea will beat them now, wheels will have totally come off once City give them a hiding in mid-week.

Quoting again the post from after the loss at Anfield:

Upon review, with 2 games to go I think it will look like:

Spurs 73 points, Chelsea 72 points, Goons 68 points, Utd 64 points. Utd have really fallen off and if Arsenal get a poor result at Wolves (I don't think they will win) I think they will put all their eggs in the Europa League basket. The dream result would be Utd and Chelsea drawing, but Utd look so bad now.

So, for the umpteenth time; win our home games and we finish top 4!

I’ll stop worrying when top 4 is guaranteed. It should have been already with the lead we had before the Burnley game in all honesty.

It’s been a great weekend for us though. I was expecting 0 points for us, 1 for united, 3 for scum and Chelsea.

I suppose the good thing about that big lead was that it afforded us the massive slump in form. Now we are out the other side, we are still in position to finish 3rd, 4th at worst.

Still work to do, but I will take being in 3rd with 3 of our last 4 games at home in our new stadium. Win those games and we are there I think.

We’ve just come out of the worst run of form we’d had for 5 years and they’re still 1 point behind us! It all depends on which way you look at things doesn’t it?

I guess it’s a lesson in not getting carried away really.

Honestly, the way people have predicted other teams up turn in results, basically winning every game from 11 or 12 games out and ours to spiral is really bizarre to me.

How many points were Liverpool ahead of City at one point? Brick happens especially with the injurys we have suffered. Our advantage is we have succeeded with this chase before so I am reasonably confident we will do it again.
How many were they in front? Hoping to remind them come the end of the season

So pleased the goons lost!

I just hope Son stays fit and firing. Moura can step up too. He should be a bit fresher, but needs to find his selfish precision. He has it in him. A shame Son didn't pick him out and we might have got a draw. Wanyama's return was timely. Who knows with ankle twists, sometimes they are not so bad. Wouldn't be suprised to see Kane back sooner than expected. Having him on the bench would be massive.
