3rd place is not out of sight

Morning guys first message!
brick dont know what to write..........

bollox!

i mean........ 4th does me 3rd would be great its been a long season....coys
(Thats a first message they will be talking about for years to come well done me)

it's the Saudi Sportswashing Machine price which is crazily long. whatever happens on sunday villa are absolutely gash

...ahem, not forgetting 'ridiculously dropped' points at ArseAnal & Emirates Marketing Project! We were within a Defoe toenail of victory in one, and most definitely had victory in our grasp at ArseAnal, only to casually tinkle it all away in a mad half-hour... so that's 6 points from 2 games, and we came home with none!
Also taking into account what taking points off them would've meant, even a POINT in either would've made all the difference... ONE FRIKKIN' POINT!!

it's been emotional!

And the atrocious ref performance against stoke, and the game against chelsea with Ade rounding the keeper and failing to put it in the back of the net.

Our game vs Saudi Sportswashing Machine wasn't a 6 pointer; it was a 7 pointer! Our GD is far superior to theirs because of that game, so if we finish level on points with them our emphatic win over them will basically be an extra point

Cue debate on what the hell is a six pointer, despite it being blindingly obvious.

Jeez - if we were offered at the start of the season that we'd be in the position where winning our last 2 gets us 3rd place, we'd have all taken it

Really is up to us now

If this doesnt give the squad a lift then I dont know what would

On the one hand if we win tomorrow and Saudi Sportswashing Machine lose we are guaranteed 4th come what may alternatively if both teams win our last two matches we come 3rd, Saudi Sportswashing Machine come 4th-------and if Bayern beat Chelsea  Chelsea and Arsenal play Europa Cup football next season

I just want us to win. That's all I care about now. 2 wins and we're third. The rest who cares.

Arsenal could have been 11 points ahead if they had beaten Wigan. Unreal.

3rd was never out of sight despite what some people have posted on here over the past few months. Do people not understand sports? I'm only 21 and I've seen some ridiculous results over the years, even tomorrow away at Villa is a potential banana skin.

Have some belief lads.

Come on you fudging Spurs. After all the negativity, this could still be our best PL season in more ways than one: Third in the league, automatic CL qualification, finish above Arsenal and Chelsea, 71 points.

fudging COME ON!

Feel like going back and quoting all the people that laughed when this thread was made.

I swear, if we beat villa and they serve up lasagne just before the Fulham match, I will perform a Harakiri outside paxton road in a drunken fit

Goal difference just got real.

Not really. Only way it'll come into play is if we get 1 win and Arsenal draw a WBA. It that cased we'd need to win by 3 more than we lose by.

Other situation would be if Arsenal lose to WBA and we get 2 draws. In that case we'd either be even on GD or would get 3rd (if Arsenal lost by more than 1-0)

Because they didn't have the foresight that the Redknapp situation would be resolved and we'd start playing again?

My sentiments exactly, the whole drop in form centred around the England situation.

Also, let's not get ahead of ourselves. We still have to beat Villa tomorrow remember.
