Have to agree now.

If we can find someone that can contribute just as well as Willian could have, then we will be ok. It doesn't actually matter if Chelsea get him, it's another squad addition which means they won't be so affected by injury but it doesn't drive the quality of the squad up as much as it would for us. Our room for improvement is still there.

Whoever that will be, we can still do well. Whether that's Michu, Pastore, someone. We would then still have a quality squad and can still challenge. Maybe it's a silver lining that we can get Di Maria rather than Arsenal.

My thought, exactly. Much better solution and Spurs global image and commercial appeal will be raised yet again by his continued presence, something Willian won't ever really be able to match. An important consideration in closing the stadium deal.

Marko Marin's career had already taken a set back before he joined Chelsea, he couldn't even get into the Werder Bremen team.
He's filthy rich now though, and will play this season for Sevilla
