Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

Yes one game a week will help us. Still think top 6 is achievable but need to add a CB and CF in order to do that.

Here’s hoping to a strong season.
City is the only stand-out team, all the rest have issues, maybe they'll sort them out quickly, maybe not. I've no idea where we'll finish but anything is possible with the way other teams are playing and us not being in Europe.

Ah fudge it, we're going to do the treble.

I instantly lost respect for anyone that spouted that crap. It's deeply flawed analysis to say "Well Spurs minus Kane's 30 goals equals bottom half". Kane is irreplaceable but there was always going to be a different dynamic around the team this year and other players were always going to step in to the void.
Yeah it's an over simplification of the game.

What's more important is we went from one of the oldest to youngest starting squad.

Also, Dier, Davies, Lenglet, Hojberg, Loris - all bettered by vicario, udogie, vdv and the improving Sarr and Bissouma

Can only wonder what could have been if the club had the gumption and funds to ruthlessly upgrade on those players a season or two ago.

By his own metric it won't be a successful season unless we now win the FA cup or the league.

I get the experimental team apart from Forster, you don't want him near a shootout as the only chance of saving one is if the opposition hit it off target. And subs came too late to rescue the game in normal time. At least we'll have very well rested players with fudge all to play for......

Not an enjoyable watch tonight either performance wise, Fulham had the best chances whilst we were desperate to give the ball away and it took us a ludicrous boot situation to make an opening to score. Interesting but inconsequential how Ange reacts to this, that's a big shame this early on.

Hopefully he'll have learned a bit from that - he made wholesale changes and he blew it.

Poch got us to the CC final in his first season, which made you believe that he had something special. Ange is 0 for 1 on that. Better performance in the FA Cup is sorely needed, so hopefully he can learn from today and resist the urge to rotate like this when the FA Cup rolls around.

Could have just looked at the history books to learn that lesson or ask Any Spurs fan.
