Roberto Soldado

As long as Soldado is available there will probably be some club that is in need of a striker on deadline day after their main targets have gone elswere. I'm pretty confident that he'll find a new club if he want's a move.

But that's no use to us. Levy will not fork out for a striker unless we shift the two duds

Spain usually talks wages on a net after-tax basis, whereas English footballer wages usually quoted gross
Often, yes.

I suspect that English people who support an English team when talking about a player currently based in England would use the English convention though.

I just saw on the SS news that Seville's new striker Immobile was crocked in a friendly with Watford this evening. I wonder will they try for Soldado again now that has happened.

Edit: Immobile only on loan apparently. Guess they'll just ship him back to Dortmund and free up the spot :)

Was this day in 2013 that Soldado signed for Tottenham.
