Roberto Soldado

The largest add on would almost certainly have been Champions League qualification. Trophy wins.. Europa League win etc.
Why would the largest add on 'almost certainly' have been those things? Valencia would've known that those things were very unlikely for us. The most common add-on is generally always games played....

Because they can without recourse (keyboard warrior). Saying that some players deserve it.. Adebayor.

Maybe, but from my experience Ade was never going to be a good fit here because he used to play for the Arse and certain supporters I meet never gave him a chance.

I want him gone as much as anyone but the bile that is thrown around is childish at best ( imo).

Levy or Baldini probably would have.

At the time of the transfer, we were apparently only offering around 15m in the media, but Valencia at the time were under control of the banks or people representing them I believe. There was one guy there who was adamant that the price was 30m. He was trying to get as much as he could from it because they had to pay a deadline repayment. Levy knew this, the whole world knew this. But now Valencia couldn't say to the world but actually we accepted 13m.. so IMO Levy instilled add-ons that he would have been happy putting in and paying extra money for. Valencia got to tell the world it was 26m.

Oh come on.. people let of steam after a long hard day. Its not childish.

I would like to say though, I would quite happily say everything I say on here to any footballer.

Different strokes for different folks. Personally I can think of many ways to let of steam after a hard day. :D

The issue is his wages which work out around €3m. They’re working on ways to make it easier, based on bonuses, team achievements.

But the player himself wants to join Villarreal ahead of Sevilla. The clubs will also need to reach a compromise over the asking price.

.@EsportsVila: Villarreal will announce the signing of a new striker next week. A player they've agreed terms with some time ago. Soldado?

The only issue with this striker was an agreement with the selling club. @EsportsVila believe that situation has now been resolved

This fits with what I heard a few weeks back. Soldado's agents met with Villarreal but the asking price was too high for them.

The player, however, was very keen. It’d allow him to move back into his house in Valencia (30 minute drive away). Perhaps the end is near.
