I would recommend you don't trust Zionists either, but you seem to.
You do understand what zionist means?

Yes I do. Thanks. You do understand what zionist means?
Yes I do. Thanks.
That's not what I said. This is a strawman, but you know that.So you don't trust anyone that thinks israel should exist?
The Thatcher years were hard for the country as old industries that has sustained many communities were shut down. These industries were dying and she prepared the country for the modern era, repurposing it for a huge uplift in living standards. When Thatcher came to power genuine slum communities with no central heating, shared communal outside toilets and squalid living conditions were still present in the country. Infrastructure was failing and the country had been generally in terminal decline since WW2.Me & you remember the Thatcher years very differently if you think she was good for the country as a whole.

It is going to be interesting to see what happens when tech comes for the white collar worker? The Thatcher years were hard for the country as old industries that has sustained many communities were shut down. You said not to trust zionists.
Zionist means "a person who believes in the development and protection of a Jewish nation in what is now Israel."
That's why i aked if you know what it means.

Zionism is the movement which says it deserves land because GHod promised them it 3000 years ago. Scara should see the existence of Zionism as an absurdity. However he is selective in how he treats religious zealots. That's the point he was making.
I understand the history of Zionism pretty well. Since the Hamas attack, I'm sure we all have been reading more on this. Now I might have qualified my comment with a qualification on the form of Zionism - labour, revisionist, etc. or this current ultra-nationalist flavour, but I have to be honest, I didn't think it needed it.You said not to trust zionists.

That time is now, unfortunately. I'm trying to urge my kids into careers that will not disappear in the not-too-distant future. It is going to be interesting to see what happens when tech comes for the white collar worker?

Yeah I agree. I'm trying to push my 2nd oldest to be an electrician but he's not biting.Do a trade. Electrician, plumber...
No student debt. Can work anywhere in the world.
It is indeed. The human shrink at companies is underway, still at the beginning of the ramp though. Hope someone has modelled this out with realistic assumptions. That time is now, unfortunately. I'm trying to urge my kids into careers that will not disappear in the not-too-distant future.
Most people have religious fools in their govt, there's so many of the clams it's impossible to avoid.I would recommend you don't trust Zionists either, but you seem to.
In which case I'd suggest you don't remember them at all - or anything that's happened since.Me & you remember the Thatcher years very differently if you think she was good for the country as a whole.
So has all of the civil service/public sector.I would say yes given they have been massively under paid for a long time. Whats the entry rate now year 1 after years of studying? £36,000?
Thats absolutely ridiculous given the job and the responsibility.
If people are going to go after anything in the NHS it should be the management and third party contracts.
So has all of the civil service/public sector.
This is a cynical and tone deaf request.
The bottom line is, there isn't much money anywhere. If they want to make the case and convince the public to pay more tax, then they can have something akin to what they want, as can I and my colleagues. But the ask is clearly ridiculous and choosing to strike is both reckless, selfish and counterproductive.
I fully supported them last time. This time, I'd join a counter protest.
This is the overarching difficulty for the government (or any government tbf). Rock and a hard place. The bottom line is, there isn't much money anywhere.
