Just finished Boardwalk empire, very good.

Just watched this, think that's the best ending of a show I can remember (Six Feet Under maybe second). Was intriguing and brilliantly acted until the end, no sense of anticlimax, didn't just descend into some stupid final showdown. The young versions of all the characters were so well done! Feel like there is a dearth of shows now - Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire over, Madmen and Justified almost there. HBO need something new!

I'll fix you a plate must be one of the most used phrases in The Sopranos, I've watched 5 episodes today and heard it said at least 10 times

Well they have Game of Thrones. I don't watch it, but it's their most watched show ever, surpassing The Sopranos.

True Detective had a very good first season.

But on the whole, the other cable networks (FX, Showtime and AMC) have caught up to them.

Watched the first series of A Touch of Cloth this weekend and it was brilliant. I remember when it came out but never recorded it and missed it all but downloaded a few episodes. If you like Airplane or Blazing Saddles esque irreverance then check it out.

The bodies keep washing up cloth.

Next year HBO are doing a show based on Westworld. It'll have Anthony Hopkins and Ed Harris in it.

It is rather good.
Seems to be an excellent rendering of the period, early days but a few good characters seem to be sketched out so far.

anyone ever watch studio 60?

started binge watching it and can't believe it got cancelled after one season, it's great

Just noticed its like a period drama thing - not my cup of tea but will give it a chance... but lI ike Owen... Newsroom is back which is awesome...

Z Nation is a much better show than The Walking Dead, WD is boring now, Z Nation's story lines are brilliant, had Z's on Viagra and Ritalin this week and the deaths are much more inventive

Haven't quite got round to it yet, but i've considered ditching Walking Dead for a while now. Like you say, it's kinda boring and the story lines aren't interesting enough. It also constantly repeats the same old formula which is:

New location located> meet a new community that seem nice and pleasant> Rick remains sceptical > new community turn out to be *****> kill them, escape and repeat.

Would also have been better if they made the Zombies more of a threat as opposed to just a nuisance.

I'm enjoying The Missing on BBC 1. Then again, I like Nesbitts work.

It's been good, last Tuesdays episode took a bit of working out but we got there in the end.

Tomorrow night is the next episode of Remember Me (with Michael Palin), looks like this could be a great drama

Yeah, the only gripe I have with it is that it's at times confusing with the switching of present day to past.

The walking dead, GHod I love zombies and the idiofs that are left.

Anyone know how to watch U.S. Netflix in the UK? I used to be able to watch it through Google Chrome on my Mac using Media Hint, but you have to pay it for now.
