Unfortunately, we'll never get the answer to that question. For all we know, the medical team could be trying to cover their asses or selling their ability to the next man in charge, who must be wary of our record in that particular area. Everyone has an agenda and that's why we'll never know the truth for sure.

The medical team don't create the injuries, so they don't need to cover their a***. Postecoglu himself in public interviews has said that injuries are part and parcel of how he trains and plays and said the players will adapt with time. So I 100% believe the press leaks that the sports science and medical departments were told by him that the players had to "endure to adapt". It's a claim that is consistent with Ange's public statements about his philosophy. It's not something we will ever get confirmation of, but the press leaks over the last day or two are pretty believable. In particular, the leak that players were played against medical advice is fairly obvious when both Romero and VDV were played against Chelsea and both were out subsequently for a lot longer.....
Yup, it's done now. I don't think Frank is the man and think he will be chewed up and spat out like others have been. But goes without saying will have my support. Might aswell just enjoy the positive stage of the cycle, where most posters are saying what a great exciting appointment this will be, followed by the honeymoon stage with the comments of 'How great it is to finally have a team playing (insert type of football here) compared to (insert previous manager here).'
To be honest this is just the cycle most clubs go through. Dynasty managers are rare and becoming rarer. "projects" are driven by sporting directors for the most part. Clubs like Real Madrid, Chelsea and Barcelona drive success by constantly refreshing the coaching staff. Arsenal on the other hand are probably a case study in where greater loyalties to managers have allowed things to go stale and allowed them to fall from the perennial title challengers that they were. That's not to say loyalty can't pay, but loyalty must be bought by persistent signs of improvement and success.

Absolute bollox, what a fudging melt. If avoiding relegation was our main target, we would have prioritised that, so no, not 100%.
Yeah I mean obviously messiah was an exaggeration. So what actually is the plan? After all these years I'm confused as to what it is. We are never winning the league without spending big, we can hoover plenty of young talents but will always be superseded by the teams who actually buy the top players for now.
