*** OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v MILLWALL ***

This is one of the only games left this season where we can sprinkle in some of the squad players. We dont have a midweek game and then its an international break but we do need to see some more from some of our other players.

So ill go with this:

-------------------Lloris----------------------

Trippier----Toby---------Verts---------Davies

-----------------Wanyama--------------------
-------------------------Winks----------------

------Eriksen------Alli-----------Nkodou------

-----------------Kane---------------------------

Dont rate Sissoko and happily sell him in the summer. I dont trust Janssen to get the goals and we rely on Alli and Kane for that so taking one out has a big effect on us. Want to see Nkoudou in a bigger game so maybe he can be an X factor as the season comes to an end. And Dembele always needs to rest up so Winks can come in.
Nah, we'll get a chance to do that with Lincoln in the next round. :D

Genuinely then - with all the rumours going around about "scores to settle from previous friendly", how Millwall stormed the Leicester fans in last round, throwing "missiles" into crowd; their general rep, the pubs being closed, the extra presence, the lack of transport that'll keep more fans on the streets around WHL etc etc etc...

Would any of you consider NOT going with their young kids? Particularly if their tickets happened to be in, shall we say, the South Stand?

Not one to usually succumb to any of the pre-match hype and blah blah. But there's something that doest sit comfortably with me on this one, given i'm taking my 12 year old daughter. She doesn't need to be witnessing that kinda brick (potentially).
Personally..I wouldn't take my kid to this one.

Looks like the growing lights from our current stadium have been moved to a safer location in preparation for tomorrow.

is this the 80's ? there's not going to be any trouble, we'll win 4-0 and they'll go back to their Nelson Mandela estates and cause trouble in SE whatever it is. next.

I think it's because it's Millwall's first big day for a while and people are latching onto the hooligan elements of both clubs

I'm expecting to see pockets of trouble not helped by the ridiculous closing of Northumberland Park today

It is now 9 years since we last won a trophy which is the League Cup in 2008. Remember, we have never went more than 10 years without winning a trophy since 1951 ! So, we badly need to win a trophy within the next 2 years to keep that proud record. We used to be the most successful team in FA Cup but Arsenal and ManU have overtaken us since we last won the FA Cup in 1991. Annoyingly, we didn't even qualify to the FA Cup final during that period, losing 6 semi finals. So, we need to do much better if we want to go all the way this season.

We have been very fortunate with the FA Cup draw this season, managing to avoid any PL team so far. So we should make use of the chance given to us by taking it seriously against Millwall in the Quarter finals. We have an excellent record against Millwall, winning 11 and drawing 3 of our last 14 matches against them in all competitions since 1946. But Millwall, despite being in League 1,are in good form now, being unbeaten in 17 matches in all competitions. So, we need to give them due respect and play our strong team against them.

Kane is in good form now, scoring 8 goals in our last 4 matches in all competitions. He was also excellent in our previous FA Cup match, scoring the hattrick against Fulham. And after winning the Player Of The Month for February, let's hope he will continue that goal scoring run against Millwall. Alli has scored in his last 2 matches for us, including the brilliant goal against Everton. Let's hope he will be fired up against Millwall as well.

Don't know much about Millwall, but we should not get complacent. Still want Wanyama, Dembele and Eriksen to start in midfield. We have been using different free kick variation lately, managing to score against Stoke and Everton. Want us to continue that variations since Eriksen cannot seem to take any good free kicks nowadays. Also want Vertonghen and Alderweireld to start in defence. There is no reason to rest any players since we don't have league match until next week. There will be temptation to start Vorm in goal but will prefer Lloris to start since this is our only remaining chance of winning a trophy this season.

Can see Millwall fired up for this match and making it tough for us. We have to beat teams like Millwall if we want to go all the way to win the FA Cup. Hope we will turn up with the right mentality and team to overcome them and progress to the FA Cup semi final.

As a heads up loads of trains cancelled to and from WHL this morning due to signalling issues, totally laughable, today has got clusterfudge written all over it

Any t"e^a"m n'e^w's yet ?

We should take Millwall seriously and play our best 11 against them. We should not take undue risk by resting any players since we have a chance to go to our first FA cup semi final since 2012. Hope we will put up a good performance and get a convincing win to progress to the FA Cup semi final.

Oh dear. The omens are not looking good

From travel info - this seems to be those operating to/from Stansted. So half the services are delayed by several minutes, remainder may have a knock-on effect.

Luckily I've decided to do Barking to South Tottenham and avoid a dry Liverpool Street.
