Difference in the intelligence of Kane and PEH there. PEH runs into players and loses the ball when a simple pass was on to keep the ball.
Kane wins it back, turns away from putting a cross in and losing the ball and then wins the free.
Sick of watching our players doing totally stupid things.

I don’t think that there are many on here that rate Dier, Sanchez, Royal or Davies. It’s clear it’s our biggest area for strengthening. We need to buy 2 top quality centre backs and a proper right wing back.

Said in the summer if i had my way dier and davies would be on the bench. Still think we need a cb in jan (and a rwb). Then go for an upgrade on lenglet in the summer.

I thought Bentancur was looking tired, partly at fault for their 3rd. Boy did he redeem himself!

Kulu - taken over as superman from Verts. Calm, cool, great touch and ability on the ball, a lot of things the rest of the squad lack.

At least it is clear what Paratici needs to focus on now. If we can't get a top quality CB, then for me Dier needs to play central CB. Romero to his right (Royal/Sanchez cover), Davies or Lenglet left CB. Right WB - Spence will start to play in '23. LWB I'd stick with Sess. Not perfect, but decent and may settle and get confidence.

We also have to shift some. Sarr and gil on loan is obvious (although may then need an attacker). But probably one or 2 more.

Kulu and Bentacur were broken
But their commitment is exceptional
