Vlad Chiriches

It's gathering pace. Now in the Daily Star:

According to reports, the Gunners have joined Italian giants Inter Milan and Juventus in the hunt for the Romanian defender.

along with gems like:

Manchester United set to line up SENSATIONAL move for former captain Nemanja Vidic

Ex-Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez favourite to return to Liverpool to replace Brendan Rodgers

This is the guy who turned up saying we were a stepping stone to Chelsea......

He's not convincing enough to make 'Made in Chelsea'

Wonder if we could get our money back.

The funny thing is, I wouldn't be surprised if he went elsewhere and turned out to be outstanding. :p Well, I'd be surprised, of course, but it would be just typical. ;)

We certainly don't have a productive environment to adapt to PL football.

It's a bit like the tiffin scene in carry on up the khyber, even pouring a cup of tea is difficult when the ceiling is falling in.

Did he actually say that? The best he will end up is somewhere like Hull (sorry Hull nothing you against I just picked a random team in the bottom half.)

Best thing for him seems to be to head to Italy come January. The game's slower, and he'll get punished less for his mistakes there. We can't afford to play him now, so there's no chance of him building his confidence at the club in the short-term: hence, probably best to let him go if we can get anything at all for him.

Although he could probably make a fine steward at Stamford Bridge, or a training cone at Cobham: that is, if he still wants to pursue his 'dream'.

Its happened once with Kevin Prince Boateng. Hardly typical.

The Prince was played out of position in all but about 2 games for Spurs.

Comolli bought him for Jol as a 'defensive midfielder' ostensibly to fill the void in our midfield apparent since Davids left, which in fact remained until Redknapp signed Palacios a year and a half later.

But of course, Comolli once again proved himself utterly incapable of signing players that the club actually needed. KPB was always talented (as many of DC's signings were) and repeatedly stated to the press that he wanted to be played as an attacking midfielder, yet Jol had to work with the squad he was given and played him out of position at DM.

The Prince was a diva. So gave up pretty quickly before leaving for Pompey and then Milan to play in his actual position, where his talent and athleticism saw him win a Serie A title, excelling in a penetrative role from deep; one he never had the chance to occupy at Spurs.

Chiriches is just sh*t.
