Hasn’t everyone complained we take too long to sell? Too much haggling over an extra 5m etc etc.., surely the club has done exactly what the moaners have been asking for

He was a part owner himself. If owner funds are to be injected then he would also have to put in his share of around 25%

Two separate things. You sell when you’re ready. Palace aren’t going to find a player like him for a similar fee. You don’t get that first and foremost you ensure we have ample players to go out on match day?

Are we free spending now? Didn’t the owners release funds a few times to boost the kitty when Danny was at the helm? You don’t have to defend him at every point. You just have to be fair. If this current transfer team is quicker to sign players then that’s brilliant no?
 
It’s time for the board to step up here. Kulu back soon but will need to get up to speed, Maddison done for the season, Solanke, who knows.

If they want to get anywhere though they need to give Frank some more quality.

You misread what I put, I wasn’t suggesting we should sell him. My point was hasn’t the club given the naysayers exactly what they have been asking for regarding clearing out of surplus players.

I had no issues with Johnson personally staying or going

I think selling Johnson makes perfect sense - but when we are ready! We could have done with his cool as a sub, then sold him once we have a replacement passed their medical. That is how a well-run club should act.
