Spurs interested in RB Leipzig winger Diomande

Latest from Sky Sports News' Lyall Thomas & Michael Bridge:

Tottenham are among several clubs interested in RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande.

Spurs are in the market for a new forward this month, and Diomande is among the options under consideration.

Sky Sports News revealed last week that the 19-year-old was being monitored by Manchester United.

Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are two more clubs keeping tabs on the Ivory Coast international's progress.

The highly-rated teenager has been impressing in Germany this season, scoring seven goals in all competitions.

Anyone watched him? Any good for what we need now?

Once or twice (including an AFCON game last week). He's an exciting dribbler, but lacks composure and decision making. He could be a really big player in a few years with some decent coaching, but he's very raw now

You posted it in the dying minutes of a game after the opposition had equalised, I'd call that either hindsight or opportunism.
I think it was actually foresight. @SpurMeUp and I disagree on several things but he was up front about saying us selling Johnson at that part of the window with no replacement in (or even lined up) was dangerous and meant we'd be even more heavily reliant on Kudus. I also said the same thing in one of hte other threads - how Kudus was looking very fatigued and we're now preying that he can get through 90 minutes against Sunderland.

I'm so confused by this. Wtf would Johnson do? Was he good on the ball? Hell no. Was good under pressure? fudge no. Was he an outlet who could run a ball away from our goal? He never did once in 2.5 years. So exactly what difference would he have made today that he didn't make in every game he played under Ange when we dropped points from opposition pressure? This is fantasy land talk.
He could've come on in place of Richi, we could've moved Muani to number 9 and continued our press instead of dropping off into a low block because our legs had gone (though of course it may be that our legs hadn't gone and it was just us playing to the manager's instructions, I think some on here think the former and some the latter).

He's quite similar to Kudus in the way that he plays. Strong, agile, good (great) dribbler but isn't really somebody who is going to make key passes (at least not yet anyway). I think he is a bit faster than Kudus. In theory he has all the attributes to play in the Premier League but I wouldn't expect him to make a big impact for at least a couple of years.

It's funny how given we've sold him just before our 20th game of this season none of what you suggested has happened up to now. You're also living in fantasy what of land.

Frank clearly doesn't even rate Johnson so why would he suddenly have made the changes you suggest in this specific match when he hasn't any stage earlier in the season?

Scarlett is just as capable of some headless pressing. Bergvall was actually incredible at this. They offered the same thing. It didn't make a difference.

Emirates Marketing Project are emerging as contenders to sign Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi this month.

BBC Sport understands City are exploring a move for the England centre-back in the wake of defenders Josko Gvardiol and Ruben Dias suffering injuries in the draw against Chelsea on Sunday.

England centre-back John Stones is also currently out injured

Unfortunately at the point where hoping City buys Guehi, Semenyo and whoever the fudge else to make sure the Scum don't win

When I was talking to Sheff U fans over the summer about MGW and McAtee, everyone single one said Ndiaye was head and shoulders above both of them in terms of ability and potential.
You failed to mention this at the time. Usually quite good with plucking names out to give you credit.

Because Kudus didn't get injured until yesterday. He has also made 17 appearances in the 20 games this season so I've no idea what you've been watching??

But you are talking fantasy what ifs. What if he broke his leg? What if he missed the chance? What if my auntie had gonads? 🤣

I don't know how good your maths is but what is it about 18 goals in 85 games that makes you so certain he would 100% have scored yesterday?
Keep laughing at your own jokes haha. You have also said he wouldn't have scored how do you know this. come on answer the question you call it fantasy talk but you have no idea either. We will never know if he would have scored yesterday because he wasn't at the club. Again you can't say he wouldn't have scored & I can't say he would have but somehow I talk fantasy & you don't. Still not able to answer the question who is replacing his goals.
