Oh Come on! Frank has shown almost no interest whatsoever in playing Johnson so far this season! It’s not like he’s had a starter sold from under his nose. He still had Tel and Muani to bring on midweek and both would have still come on ahead of Johnson in Franks mind.
Just our luck that Savinho got injured against Sunderland and apparently it 'Doesn't look good'....

Nonsense. Johnson came on in the previous game and did well. Helped us get the 3 points.
When Richi was knackered against Brentford he had chances to help us win the game at the end. Tired he could not get passes off or a finish off. A fresh player like Johnson might have.

Idk if Savinho was the player we were looking to sign. Would seem odd for City to start him. And even more odd for us to release Johnson without confirming Savinho. Questions have to be asked if so.

I think it is pretty clear really. Lewis was very happy with the way Levy ran the club. Levy had turned about £100m investment into a £3+ billion asset. I think we all should be able to agree that Lewis' main motivation in life is to have as high a net worth as possible, so why would he have been anything but delighted with Levy as THFC's decision maker?
Ownership has now been transferred to Lewis' children and perhaps they feel they will have enough money for themselves, their descendants, their descendant's descendants and their descendant's, descendant's, descendants and have motivation to see the club they support and own achieve glory in the way of trophies? Only time will tell.
