So do we need to sell to buy now?

Shifting Sissoko would be greeted like a new stellar signing :) Removing his and Auriers wages must be worth around 10m a year. But are there any takers? Winks...just not sure who would cough up for him. Sanchez is another big one. In theory he should be easier to move on as he's only 25, the peek of his career ahead of him. Played for Ajax and in CL for us. Plays for his country. Maybe he can reinvent himself somewhere else and we could get 20m for him. He seems the most salable of the players we want to let go.

I had been saying before hand I thought he was over rated. Was right behind the goal he scored in and only saw the ball in the back of the net. Such fast football.

Difficult to know. With the Romero signing being a loan to buy and us spending quite a bit on Gil despite him not playing in a position that's top of our list of priorities for us and being one that will probably take some time to shine makes me think that there's still some money to spend.

That might all be that we've expected incoming fees for the players you've listed or others. Regardless I think there will be more signings. The start of the season might still see us still a bit of a patchwork though.

Pressure just cranked up a level though, they’ll be expected to do a clean sweep domestically and get close in CL
