Agree Dele won't be, but as I said he occupies a similar part of the pitch to Buendia so dont see a creative CM signed whilst we're still hoping for more out of Dele, GLC and TN

I think that s is right. We can only focus on so many changes at once. And defence is our main priority this window.
The midfield has had new recruits recently lo Celso Tanguy Sess PEH Bergwijn...we have to see how that load shape up and integrate before returning to tinker more. Skipp's back as well so let's roll with it for at least this whole season and see if Nuno can chisel something out of the raw materials.

Agreed, though unless Kane leaves, I dont see us being able to afford a decent RW this year
 
Think he scares people and is direct, if he passes the ball after he has taken the man on he could be very useful.

We probably are looking at RW options, but he wasn't even a guaranteed starter at Wolves for Nuno, add the suggested £45M? never happen
 
Yes - big season for dele, dier, winks, lo celso, ndombele and sanchez..... also aurier, sissoko if they stay.
Maybe its we have no depth so we keep accommodating sub-par performances. But with a list like that above, no wonder we don't win things either.
Nuno comes across as too nice... I hope somewhere in him there is a ruthless, objective streak to put our players on another level mentally.

Winks, Sissoko & Sanchez won't be here, Aurier also highly unlikley.

I'm not sure where you got that impression of Nuno, from all accounts he's very strait with players saying "I don't expect you to have a role in the team going forward", those he expects to keep he's nice with.

Pereira had similar numbers for WBA than Buendia did in Norwich's relegation season.... playing for a team with far less gifted footballers as well. He is the smartest signing from the Championship that any team could make I think. He would be a great right sided option for us and I think he could also easily move inside to play centrally.
 
I dunno fro. JM's spell I get the impression he had to work with and play some of them. I also felt that there was a bit of a mini revolt with some players. Perhaps the regime change with Paratici means a new broom that sweeps clean but I would have to see it to believe it.

I'd be convinced if just Dier Dele and winks were gone....
