*** Tottenham Hotspur vs Qarabağ FK OMT ***

gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

Told you it was coming, there was no way they could hold on with that sort of pressure.

Great goal, great pressing, good performance

Jeeezzz, Dele Alli hits the post. That's twice now, first one by Son.

Is Dele Alli a two name player ?? Kaaaane !!!

That Richard is a very good player, he could do a job for us if we didn't already have 300 midfielders

I don't think Davies or Trippier have been very good today, but everyone else has done alright IMO.

MOM Alli.

Tom Carroll has been magnificent. Delighted to see the lad's fire, energy, attitude and steel. Several great challenges and gives Poch a further issue as he has earned a spot on the bench and IMO gets him a very important reprieve from the 'sale' list.

Phew. The specter of an ex-Soviet tractor team derailing our season (not for the first time) was hovering threateningly in front of my vision for a while there. Still a bit miffed that we played the likes of Eriksen and Kane, but I suppose we'd have lost if we played the youth here: Qarabag seem better than their status as the aforementioned ex-Soviet team from the a*se end of the world would indicate, no offense to Azerbaijan and Azeri football.

Turns out if he had stayed at home with the first team and sent Ugo Ehiogu and the u21s an lost say 4-0 it wouldn't have made much difference.
A draw at home against Monaco would have sent us through anyway.

Nice result!
Listened to the end on talkbrick, Danny murthy singing toby's praises "not a foot wrong", "not a single misplaced pass".
This being talkbrick he mentioned he should be a target for the top European clubs....

We're through now. So there is a difference
