Been wanting to see Townsend given more of a run in the first team for a while now. He's looked that sharp the two brief spells he's come on as sub recently (almost scored in one and put a tasty ball through to Defoe in the other). Unlucky for him he has two outstanding wingers in Lennon and Bale ahead of him. Maybe this'll be just the nudge AVB needs to use him more.
