Soldado is running the game today. Central in most of our attacks and throwing himself forward to try and connect with crosses. In terms of effort he wins hands down.

Agree with that...he is clearly a better fit with the players out there...

Soldado has played some lovely balls, he and Kane work together...switch off nicely...and Lamela is a happier player roving from left positions...please GHod they try this in the prem and see it works?
 
Don't think Dembele has been that bad. Not a lot between him and Stambouli IMO. Nearly have a couple of assists too.

Thought Kane was the least involved in the match until the goal to be honest.
 
Seems clear to me that Townsend has been given instructions to NEVER shoot tonight

I reckon he was told to cut down, but didn't, so he was told to shoot a lot less, but didn't, so Pock told him NEVER SHOOT FFS YOU ARE TERRIBLE AT SHOOTING and he finally got the message to not shoot... then we can build back up from there
