How will there be midweeks in jan free when we will have about 3 to 4 PL games to make up, this brick fixture, 2 legged league cup semi, 2 legged brick cup playoff games.

We will be playing 4 games a week at this rate lol.

Just forfeit and be done with this total brick cup. Uefa should just announce right now that this cup has been permanently deleted with immediate effect and its brainchild fired from the organisation.

THere are always free weekends and weekdays later in the season. We can play 1-2 of the games in Jan and dates will free up later for the others

Isn’t the challenge you can’t play league games on the same day as European competition, so therefore there aren’t that many free weeks at all? Or at least I thought that was the case.

And dont forget we have to play morecambe town at a weekend so thats another PL game getting moved!

or perhaps they genuinely dont know at the moment. THey'd need to discuss with Rennes...and that clearly hasnt reached a conclusion given that they've arrived in London!!
 
We're going to have to forfeit, with us going to appeal for the cosmetics of it, but UEFA won't be having it. We're out. Oh, well. I'd like us to go through, but not at all costs.

Rennes are claiming that it’s not been sanctioned or agreed to cancel anyway
 
Did anyone see the game, apparently Rennes played against a bunch of local kids down at the rec and lost by 4 goals, 9 wallets and a fake Rolex.
 
We’ve all seen games lost because of them. But this!?

This is going to win the “Worst OMT of the Year” award by a landslide.
 
Very happy to see the Rennes match cancelled. If we forfeit, big whoop.

We've already managed to haul ourselves back into contention for a top six league finish and a better level of play in Europe next season. Very confident that Conte will ensure we hold what we have. The games in Europe have already proven worthwhile as our UEFA co-efficient ranking is now above Arsenal's and will remain so through the beginning of next season.

Nice chance for Spurs to get everyone fit and firing for the run down the December holiday tunnel.
